Pick today’s bakery.
Fast.
Bbangpick is a mobile app for Korea that decides where to go for bread, based on where you are, what you like, and whether the bakery is open right now.
Launching on iOS and Android in Korea.
Sample screen
Less scrolling through reviews. More bread.
Close by first
Pick a neighborhood and the nearest bakeries come first. Distance is shown everywhere.
Matched to your taste
Bagels, sourdough, butter pastries, sweet breads. Choose once and recommendations follow.
Open right now
Bakeries with registered hours show a one-line status, like “Open · until 9 PM”, so you don’t walk up to a closed door.
Under the hood: an Expo mobile app, a Go API, and a PostgreSQL/PostGIS bakery catalog built from Seoul’s public business-license data, with more than 5,000 bakeries collected so far.
Next: just say what you’re craving.
Today you tap a neighborhood, taste chips and an “open now” filter separately. We are building conversational search with the Claude API so one sentence does all three.

- ClaudeReads a Korean request and turns it into filters our API already understands: neighborhood, taste tags, open now.
- Our serverFinds real bakeries from our catalog, checks distance and opening hours, and ranks them.
- ClaudeExplains in one short line why each result fits, using only the records we retrieved.
By design, Claude will not add bakeries, addresses or hours that are not in our catalog: the server will reject any result outside the retrieved records.
